AP College Poll - Top 25 College Football Poll

The AP college poll for week 2 of the college football season is now available. In the top 25 college football poll a 1st place vote awards a team with twenty-five points while a 25th place vote awards a team with one point.

The week 2 AP college football poll has one ACC team, five Big 12 teams, two Big East teams, four Big Ten teams, four Pac-10 teams, five SEC teams, and four mid-major teams - East Carolina, BYU, Fresno State, and Utah. The first five teams on the outside of the top 25 AP college poll are UCLA, Clemson, Florida State, Boise State, and Tennessee. USC, Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida, Ohio State, Missouri, and LSU split the number 1 votes with USC taking the majority and therefore earning the overall number 1 spot in the top 25 football poll for the second week in a row.
