AP Football Top 25 - College Football Top 25 Rankings

The AP football top 25 for week 4 of the college football season is now online. In the college football top 25 a 1st place vote awards a team with 25 points while a 25th place vote awards a team with 1 point.

The week 4 AP football top 25 rankings has two ACC teams, five Big 12 teams, one Big East team, four Big Ten teams, one Pac-10 team, six SEC teams, and six mid-major teams - BYU, Fresno State, East Carolina, Utah, TCU, and Boise State. The first five teams on the outside of the college football top 25 rankings are Oregon, Oklahoma State, Virginia Tech, Colorado, and Nebraska. USC, Georgia, and Florida split the number 1 votes with USC taking the vast majority and easily securing the overall number 1 spot in the AP top 25 for the 4th straight week.

Oregon, Florida State, and West Virginia moved out of the college football top 25 while TCU, Boise State, and Vanderbilt moved in. The AP football top 25 rankings for week 5 will be out by Monday, September 29.
