AP Top 25 Football Poll - Associated Press Football Rankings

The AP top 25 football poll is now online and viewable for week 7 of the college football season. The Associated Press football rankings award 25 points for a first place vote and 1 point for a twenty-fifth place vote.

The week 7 Associated Press top 25 has three ACC teams, six Big 12 teams, two Big East teams, three Big Ten teams, two Pac-10 teams, five SEC teams, and four mid-major teams - BYU, Utah, Boise State, and Ball State. The first five teams on the outside of the AP poll are Tulsa, TCU, Minnesota, Florida State, and Georgia Tech. Texas and Alabama split the number 1 votes with Texas getting the majority and therefore taking over the number 1 spot in the AP top 25. Oklahoma, Missouri, and LSU slid to 4, 11, and 13 respectively following their losses.
