The Associated Press football rankings for week 8 of the NCAA football season are now posted. The AP top 25 poll dishes out 25 points for a 1st place vote and 1 point for a 25th place vote.

The week 8 Associated Press rankings have three ACC teams, six Big 12 teams, two Big East teams, three Big Ten teams, one Pac-10 team, four SEC teams, and six mid-major teams - BYU, Utah, Boise State, Ball State, TCU, and Tulsa.
