Final BCS Rankings - Bowl Championship Series Final Standings

The final BCS rankings are now posted online and available for viewing. The Bowl Championship Series final standings are calculated using the Harris Interactive football poll, the USA Today football coaches poll, and an average of 6 computer ranking systems: Richard Billingsley, Kenneth Massey, Dr. Peter Wolfe, Anderson & Hester, Jeff Sagarin, and the Colley Matrix.

The final BCS standings has three ACC teams, five Big 12 teams, two Big East teams, four Big Ten teams, two Pac-10 teams, four SEC teams, and five mid-major teams - Utah, Boise State, TCU, Ball State, and BYU. Just two college football teams are undefeated in the final Bowl Championship Series rankings: Utah and Boise State. Oklahoma and Florida moved up to 1 and 2 respectively and will play each other for the BCS title on Jan 8.
