Harris Football Rankings - College Football Top 25 Harris Poll

The Harris football rankings for week 8 of the college football season are now available. The college football top 25 Harris poll awards 25 points for a first place vote and 1 point for a twenty-fifth place vote.

The week 8 Harris football top 25 has three ACC teams, six Big 12 teams, two Big East teams, three Big Ten teams, one Pac-10 team, four SEC teams, and six mid-major teams - BYU, Utah, TCU, Boise State, Ball State, and Tulsa. The first five teams on the outside of the college football Harris rankings are Northwestern, Virginia Tech, Michigan State, North Carolina, and Vanderbilt. Texas, Alabama, Penn State, and Utah(#12 overall) again split the number 1 votes with Texas getting the majority meaning the Longhorns retain the overall number 1 spot.

Wake, Va Tech, Michigan St, UNC, Vandy, and Cal moved out of the college football top 25 Harris poll while TCU, Tulsa, Ga Tech, Florida St, BC, and Minnesota moved in. The Harris football rankings for week 9 will be out by Monday, Oct 27.
