NCAA Football Coaches Poll - College Football Top 25 Rankings

The week 7 NCAA football coaches poll is now online. Teams in the college football top 25 rankings receive 25 points for a first place vote and 1 point for a twenty-fifth place vote.

The week 7 football coaches rankings has three ACC teams, six Big 12 teams, one Big East team, three Big Ten teams, two Pac-10 teams, five SEC teams, and five mid-major teams - BYU, Boise State, Utah, Ball State, and TCU. The first five teams on the outside of the football top 25 rankings are Tulsa, Minnesota, Florida State, Pittsburgh, and Georgia Tech. Texas, Alabama, and Penn State split the number 1 votes with Texas receiving the majority putting the Longhorns in the number 1 ranked position. Oklahoma, Missouri, and LSU dropped to 6, 12, and 14 respectively following their losses over the weekend.

Northwestern, Wisconsin, and Auburn moved out of the college football top 25 rankings while North Carolina, TCU, and Ball State moved in. The NCAA football coaches poll for week 8 will be out by Monday, October 20.
