AP Preseason College Football Rankings - Preseason Top 25 Polls

AP preseason college football rankings are available for viewing. The AP preseason college football top 25 has been out since mid-August. In college football preseason polls a first place vote awards a team 25 points while a twenty-fifth place vote awards a team 1 point.

The AP college football preseason ranking has three ACC teams, five Big 12 teams, three Big East teams, four Big Ten teams, three Pac-10 teams, six SEC teams, and one mid-major team - BYU. The first five teams on the outside of the AP preseason college football top 25 are South Carolina, Fresno State, California, Utah, and Cincinnati. Georgia, Ohio State, USC, Oklahoma, and Florida split the number 1 votes with Georgia taking the majority and the number 1 overall ranking.
