AP Preseason College Football Rankings - Preseason Top 25 Polls

AP preseason college football rankings are available for viewing. The AP preseason college football top 25 has been out since August 22. In college football preseason polls a first place vote awards a team 25 points while a twenty-fifth place vote awards a team 1 point.

The AP college football preseason ranking has four ACC teams, five Big 12 teams, zero Big East teams, three Big Ten teams, three Pac-10 teams, five SEC teams, Notre Dame, and four mid-major teams - Boise State, TCU, Utah, BYU. The first five teams on the outside of the AP preseason college football top 25 are Oregon State, Illinois, Pitt, Michigan State, and Rutgers. Florida and Texas split the number 1 votes with Florida taking the vast majority and the number 1 overall ranking.
