USA Today College Football Rankings - NCAA Top 25 Rankings

The USA Today college football rankings are now posted for week 3 of the season. In the NCAA top 25 rankings a first place vote earns a team 25 points while a twenty-fifth place vote earns a team 1 point.

The week 3 USA Today college football top 25 poll has three ACC teams, five Big 12 teams, two Big East teams, four Big Ten teams, three Pac-10 teams, five SEC teams, and three mid-major teams - BYU, Utah, and East Carolina. The first five teams on the outside of the NCAA college football rankings are Fresno State, TCU, Nebraska, Boise State, and Kentucky. USC, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Florida split the number 1 votes in the college football top 25 with USC taking the majority and therefore securing the overall number 1 spot for the third week in a row.
